What were the key announcements in the Spring Budget 2024?
Today (6 March 2024), The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt, delivered his Spring Budget 2024 to the House of Commons. Our latest article highlights the key announcements made in…
Every compliant UK-based umbrella company will provide you with a PAYE payroll service. However, they won’t all go the extra mile and offer you industry-leading customer service. Churchill Knight Umbrella will provide you with a comprehensive service that will go beyond your expectations.
You may be wondering what the advantages and benefits are of using an umbrella company for your payroll. We can’t speak for every provider, but below is a detailed list of the reasons why you should choose Churchill Knight Umbrella as your umbrella company. Not only are we compliant and FCSA accredited, but we also ensure our customer service is always the very best it can be.
Churchill Knight Umbrella will provide you with an accurate take home pay calculation that is truly based on your circumstances. Unfortunately, not every umbrella company is as honest as we are. You may find that other providers are quoting you a slightly higher take home pay than us. However, are they being honest? The answer is probably no. They may not be taking any annual leave into account – to try and manipulate your pay, making it appears higher. Also, are they using the correct tax code?
Remember, every compliant umbrella company will process your pay in the same way. The only thing that varies amongst providers is the margin for their service. Therefore, don’t be fooled by umbrella companies who are offering you a noticeably higher take home pay retention because the chances are, you’ll get considerably less on your payday.
You can register with Churchill Knight Umbrella and be completely set up on our payroll in under 15 minutes! You can sign up over the phone, or complete our simple online registration form. If you choose to complete the form, we’ll give you a call back shortly after you submit it to welcome you and to complete the final steps.
All of our clients are protected with £10 million Employers Liability Insurance, £10 million Public Liability Insurance and £5 million Professional Indemnity Insurance. If you require a higher level of insurance, please get in contact with us. Churchill Knight Umbrella will tailor your umbrella package to ensure you have the appropriate cover for your assignments.
As an employee of Churchill Knight Umbrella, you will be entitled to Statutory Benefits, including Sick Pay and Maternity/Paternity Pay.
Churchill Knight Umbrella is accredited by the FCSA, and we believe there is no better way to showcase our commitment to compliance within our industry. By choosing us as your umbrella company, you can go about your assignments without any concerns about your payroll whatsoever.
There is no joining or leaving fees, and absolutely no hidden costs associated with our service. The only income that we generate is through our margin, and this will only apply each time we process your payroll. If you stop using our service in the future, you are free to leave as you please, and there are no associated costs to do so. We just ask that you let us know so we can issue you with a P45.
We pay our clients with Same Day Faster Payments, but what does this mean? It means we can process your pay and have it in your account on the same day we have received it from your agency or client (depending on the time of day we receive it). Not every umbrella company can say the same, and some use BACS instead – which can take 3-5 days to be processed.
You will have access to unlimited telephone and email support. Once everything has been set up and you have received your first payment, everything after that should run like clockwork. However, we’re here to support you if you have any questions at all – contact your Account Manager or email umbrella@churchill-knight.co.uk.
Once you have completed the registration process, your administrative duties will be minimal. To get paid on time, you’ll need to submit your timesheets to us – that’s it!
Are you concerned that switching to us may be complicated and not worth the hassle? If so, let us put your mind at ease. Switching to Churchill Knight Umbrella is a straightforward process, and we’ll do most of the work. All you need to do is let your agency and client know you’ve decided to change, and we’ll tell you what you need to do to get set up on our payroll. Don’t worry – it won’t take long, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
If you refer a friend or colleague to us, both you and the person you refer will be able to earn exciting rewards. For more information on our latest referral promotion, please click here.
When you register with Churchill Knight Umbrella, you will be sent a link to our new client webpage. Here you will find all the information you need to get paid by us on time. And, if you still have any outstanding questions, simply get in contact with us and we’ll get back to you quickly.
